Receta de Vorí Vorí paraguayo

El Vorí vorí paraguayo es una comida tradicional por excelencia de nuestro pais.
Esta hecho a base de harina de maiz en forma de bolitas y acompañado de carne o pollo que le da un delicioso sabor a todo el caldo.
En este post te vamos a contar cuales son los ingredientes que tenes que usar, y los pasos que tenes que seguir para hacer un vori vori exquisito.

¿Como hacer Vori vori Paraguayo?
Si estas queriendo hacer vori vori, solo necesitas juntar los ingredientes necesarios, y seguir los pasos que te dejamos a continuacion.

Receta de Vori Vori paraguayo: Paso a Paso
Segui estos pasos para hacer el el vori vori:
Ingredientes
Para la sopa o caldo
- 6 muslos de pollo (pueden ser grande o pequeños)
- 2 tomates
- 1 locote rojo
- 1 cebolla
- 3 litros de agua hirviendo
- 1 taza de cebollita picada
- Aceite vegetal
- 2 hojas de laurel
- Oregano al gusto
- Sal, pimienta, oregano
Para las bolitas
- 250 gramos de harina de maiz
- 150 gramos de queso Paraguay
- Un poco del caldo para humedecer la masa
Preparacion
- Comenzamos cortando el pollo en presas en el tamaño que nos guste. Luego las salpimentamos.
- En una sarten colocamos un poquito de aceite, luego ponemos a freir el pollo para sellarlo. Retiramos del fuego y reservamos.
- En la misma sarten con la que cocinamos el pollo, agregamos el locote, la cebolla y el tomate. Usamos la grasita del pollo que quedó para saltearlas y que adquieran sabor.
- En una cacerola colocar el agua hirviendo y vamos agregando la carne y las verduras ya salteadas. Agregamos la sal y las hojas de laurel, luego dejamos hervir a fuego medio hasta que se hablande el pollo.
- Mientras que el hierve el caldo, preparamos las bolitas de vori vori. Para eso colocamos en un recipiente la harina de maiz y el quedo paraguay desmenuzado. Humedecemos un poco con el caldo que esta hierviendo (ten cuidado de no quemarte), y mezclamos hasta obtener una masa firme.
- Ya con esta masa empezamos a formas las bolitas del vori y las vamos agregando al caldo a medidad que las hacemos. Dejamos hervir unos 5 minutos mas luego de haber agregado todas las bolitas y retirar del fuego.
- Por ultimo, solo nos queda servir el vori en un plato y colocar encima la cebollita picada y el oregano para darle aun mas sabor.
Consejos y Recomendaciones
- Si por alguna razon el caldo te queda muy seco, podes agregar mas agua caliente.
- Tambien podes preparar y cocinar previamente las bolitas de vori para que sean mas crocantes. Podes freirlas o cocinarlas en un horno.
